Extremadura, the land of brave conquerors with unequalled historical, cultural, wine growing and gastronomical importance, is pleased to welcome the world to the 2014 IBEROVINAC Show. The adventure started 15 years ago, and after the hesitancy associated with all new projects, it is now able to offer a keen professional audience one of the best opportunities to learn about the quality of regional wines from Extremadura, Spain and Portugal, hence the Iberian Peninsula.
Over 100 stands will be present at the 2014 event, promoting wine culture, wine cellars, olive oil and olives. The fair will be responsible for a variety of activities, such as developing international trade missions, organising visits by famous sommeliers and critics, product launches, local cuisine, exhibitions and much more.
Wineries olive merchants, machinery companies, facilities and equipment linked to growing, harvesting and product transformation, bottling and packaging, cork stoppers, labels and related products - agrochemicals, fertilisers and additives - are confirming their attendance.
Targeted at a trade audience for the first two days followed by the general public on the last day, the Wine and Olive Show has a regional, national and international scope, with delegat ions from countries such as Brazil, Canada, China, Denmark, Ireland, Italy, Russia and the United States. Awards such as the ‘Mantel Blanco’ (Fine Dining) for the best wine menu of the region, the ‘Musa de la Vendimia’ (the Muse of the Harvest) and the ‘Mejor Escaparate’ (the Best Shop Window) will complete the programme.
